Need cash? Or need to change it?

Banks and ATMs on one side; exchange houses on the other. They're different services and we keep them apart.

Banks and ATMs

Need cash?

Each bank has its own official locator for branches and ATMs. Check the fee there before you withdraw: it depends on the bank and your card.

Mexico's central bank also has its Ubicajeros app with ATMs from every bank.

Exchange houses

Need to change money?

We don't list exchange houses yet. When we do, each one will be checked in the official CNBV registry; we'll never call one "authorized" without that check.

Meanwhile, you can check an exchange center yourself in the CNBV registry, or a financial institution in CONDUSEF's SIPRES. Banks exchange currency too.

Banco de México's FIX rate is a wholesale-market reference, not the rate you'll get at the counter: each exchange house sets its own buy and sell prices.

Tijuas has no relationship with any bank or exchange house.
